08 E-Class Build Starts June 10 .. Other Models?
08 E-Class Build starts during week of June 10.
Was just wondering if ALL 08 models are starting that week?
(Like the S-Class.)
Was also wondering about MB's production facilities. Is more
than one model built in the same plant? Or does each model
have its own plant?
Have any of you toured the MB facilities? I bet that would be
interesting.

Jim, Yesterday, when I went to post my reply, there was no response from the system, so I kept on clicking the post button, and still no response. So I logged off, then logged on and found to my surprise that my reply had been posted 9 times over. Obviously, there was a glitch in the works. Perhaps an administrator can delete the repeats on this thread.

I did not realize it was so early. If that is the case, shouldn't the 2008 Bluetec be available in CA at that time? I heard the Bluetec won't be sold here until mid 08, which doesn't make sense unless diesel production starts much later?

The Bluetec that will be sold in Cali and the other 4 restricted states will be a 2009 model, well within 2008. The 2008 model year cars will be the same as the 2007s.
