Any recent comparisons?
I'm sure this thread pops up on a regular basis - but has anyone recently thoroughly compared the E350 against the new 535i? I'm torn between the two - each has it's own +'s and -'s. I've had BMW's in the past, no MB's yet, but the E350 seems to offer more for the buck than the 5, and seems to be currently leasing better too. I drove the E350 non-sport a while back and need to drive the sport back-to-back with the 535i. Anyone else in the same boat that offer their 2 cents? Thanks!

BMW X5, GL450, Saab 9-3, E550
Seems that BMW always beats MB in American car mag comparisons. BMW do win on handling and driving feel but lose on styling and ride comfort. I've just ordered my first MB sedan after years of BMW's FWIW.
I feel that MB offers 4/5 of BMW drive experience but double BMW style (thanks, Bangle) and comfort.
I haven't seen a recent comparison of e350 and 535. A BMW 550 beat out an MB e550 in Car and Driver not too long ago (I think an infiniti M45 was ranked higher too. Hmmmmm...)
