Yep, your car already had the phone kit installed and all you needed was the bluetooth puck. The people that didn't have the phone kit from the factory had to retrofit it themselves, like me.

Code?
OK, picked up my new ML550 on Saturday (woohoo!) but the dealer did not give me the Bluetooth book... What's the security code for pairing my phone?

Thx, Tom B.

My BT SAP puck would ask for a 16 digit code but my guess for the US puck would be 62872, equals MBUSA.

I think this is correct. I got my Razr wet and had to get a new phone.
Of course the NEW phone had to be re-set with the car’s bluetooth. The
Verizon installer called MB asking about the code and I overheard him
quoting “MBUSA.”

Quote: Bluetooth NEVER USES THE CAR ANTENNA. Bluetooth ALWAYS USES THE PHONE ANTENNA. The only way to use the car antenna in the USA cars is to DOCK THE PHONE IN A CRADLE.
I got a question on that one: What if I'm using the Bluetooth-Cradle and have my phone docked? As far as I know, the phone would still be operated by Bluetooth and would use the external antenna as well...

This is correct. Your phone is also charging while docked in the cradle. Remember, the original poster is talking about leaving the phone in your pocket. The only way to use the car antenna in the USA cars is to dock the phone in a cradle.

Thanks cyclerider!

I was just a bit confused by your statement 'Bluetooth never uses the car antenna'. So it's actually 'Bluetooth never uses the car antenna unless it's docked to the cradle the same time because the phone needs a physical connection to the exterior antenna..' (just kiddin'..)

Now I only have to figure out if my RAZR V3 from T-Mobile will be working because it seems to have a different (I guess newer) software version (0E.43.04R) than the one approved on the wireless4mb.com website....

What phones are supported by COMAND bluetooth?

I have:

-Nokia E90
-Nokia 8800
-LG Prada
-Dopod S300
-O2 Atom

is there any of those devices above can work on my COMAND Bluetooth or do I have to add a module for it to work?
