need some help on wheel choices...
guys, waiting to pick up my E500 on Mon. or Tues. I'm debating a tire/wheel package and the pickings seem a little slim. It's my understanding the AMG wheels are only available in 18" which I can't get. I have already replaced 3 17" wheels on my E430 due to the crappy roads here in Long Island/NYC. I'll bend 18's like a pretzel. I found something similiar to the wheels that come on the sport version. My lack of computer skills prevents me from posting actual pictures. Sorry!! If anyone has a recent tirerack ad there is a wheel called the borbet type T. It looks like the sport wheel, but was wondering if the spokes are a little to "thin" compared to the wheels that come with the sport version.

Here is some cheap wheel advice -- stick with the ones that came on the car for a while.

17" AMG wheels are available. Go to the MBUSA website to build an E car. Then go to the options page. In fact the MBUSA site only indicates 17" wheels are available in the USA. Bad info.
