Got the opportunity to drive new E320 & E500 at MB's "E-Motion Event" at El Toro last week. Gotta say the looks of the W211 are a great improvement over the W210 IMHO. They had black, silver, and some grandma's-gotta-love-it gold colored E's to drive; looked great in black & silver, as far as I'm concerned the gold ought to be outlawed.
The only negative I noticed - purely aesthetic - I don't care for the new instrument cluster. I think the thermometer style fuel gauge looks like something out of a 1973 Chrysler translated to LCD.

i thought it was kind of cool, this is the first digital fuel reader, only the deville had it that i have seen, and in the E it isnt so big where you get frustrated..it is small and in the corner, and is more exact because it has small bars
