ATF for 722.6, 5spd trans: oldstyle ATF for 722.6 or new ATF for 722.9?

Hi, everyone, I am about to do tranny service on the car.

I am wondering which fluid I should use, I saw a TSB saying that the new, cheaper fluid for 722.9 7-speed AT might improove shifting quality.

I wonder which one I should use..

Please post some informations if any of you have informations reguarding the tranny fluid change!

Thanks!!

ATF 3353 MB part # A001 989 45 03 is currently recommended by MBUSA for both the 722.9 7-speed & 722.6 5-speed transmissions.

For those who have the 722.9 7-speed with vehicle production before 02/04 the oil pan will need to be replaced to accommodate the new transmission oil filter. No cost if done under 48/50000 warranty / free maintenance period. However, I would suggest mentioning bulletin S-B-27.56/83 OCT06 if having the ATF changed by the dealer and out of free maintenance term whereby the modified parts should be installed at no cost if need be: A221 270 09 12 oil pan, A251 271 00 97 overflow pipe, A000 988 01 52 magnets, A220 271 01 80 oil pan gasket, and A221 277 00 95 oil filter.
