well the dealer called and said they have the module for the teleaid and the motor mounts, so we dropped the car, we got a 2001 e320. and i am very dissapointed comapring it to the 500. not just power but other things, like the look on the interior, it seemed very plain with cheap plastics. i did like the sport transmision, i tapped it down to 2nd gear going 45 uphill, the car just flew, it red lined it
i hope the sound goes away, ill tell everyone how it went, any one else get the problem resolved?

I hope you realize that the E320 went faster from 40 to ~ 60 (wherever 2nd redlines) than in your E500? Reason? You baby your E500.
I don't neccessarily blame you because the car is not broken in yet. We'll see how peppy you are with your own car. I remember you telling me that, "my dad would never drive our own car like that". Hehe, it's a MB. Don't worry, it won't break.

got the car back today, and it took them no time at all to fix the motor mounts and the tele aid module...we were very suprised on the difference it made, the car ran smoother, and of course was quieter.....the best way to see if it was fixed is to start it up, with the hood open, and pres the gass, the engine was super stiff, i just started to smile so you dealers should have the parts..

My dad has the SL500 Launch edition and my mom has a 2001 ML55 AMG, im stuck with my cruddy C class!!! hahaha its all good though! POST PICS BRO!

I was suggesting that maybe your dad does not want to put you on the insurance policy until you are older. However, you can still drive with him in the car, whether or not you have your permanent license yet.
