Audio50 installed - Question
I installed an audio 50 unit in my 03 w211.. everything was working fine...
But today.. I had a long drive and was playing an mp3 cd.
Some folders/ songs in the cd just don't play.
They play for 1-2 sec and then stop... then after sometime.. plan another 2-3 sec and then stop again.. and this goes on.
Whereas other songs work just fine.
anyone have any suggestions??
FYI: I checked the bit rate for the songs.. but did not fine and pattern Or I would say.. could not conclude anything.

Audio 50 does not have any CD/DVD drive build in.
Do you meant the mp3-capable-6-disc changer or 2004+ command center?
If you installed a new "Audio 50" in your car, have you "re-seat" the #6 fuse in your trunk?
And Reset factory setting in your instrument?
Also, if you have not exceed 192k bit rate, then try to shorten the name of the song.
I notice some LONG name mp3 file have problem playing in my Command properly. (some non-english-name file may also cause the command longer time to recognize as a "music file".)

Do I need to reset something?
As far as the file has .mp3 extension .. it should work... Am I missing something here?
FYI: Songs that I have problems with are non-english
I'll see if shortening the name works, But there are some songs that have short names but still are not playing (128kbps)
Don't turn on the radio yet.
In your commend (instrument), reset to factory setting.

No, it is not about your MB know you are playing non-English songs. It is the name of the song should not be non-English character. (or any language not set from your command (instrument)
and the Non-English part-- the song names are in english font, so that should not be a problem. Right?
The I guess the reset should solve the glitches.
But its strange, I have 4 folders on the mp3 disk and the two folders with english songs work fine.
Only the non-english songs have problems.
Oh, that makes me think if burning non-english song audio cd would work or not. Will give it a try today and let you know. - Thanks!
