2006 e350-new key-keyless go problems

I am looking for some help. We recently bought a 2006 e350 and the dealer had to order a new key because the car only had one key with it. We have received the new key, but cannot get the car to recognize the key to activate the keyless go functions. The old key works fine with the keyless go. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Not to state the obvious, but I would have the dealer fix it.

I am not in my car to check, but it might be in the owners manual on how to program the car to recognize the key...

A new key does need to be sync'd with keyless go. It takes the dealer about a minute to do the process. They don't need the laptop or anything like that.

Found the answer...

Thanks, guys. IThe dealer had ordered me a new key, but had not specified that the new key be Keyless Go. He re-ordered for me and let me keep the traditional key as a spare. Not a bad deal - both the keys are trimmed in chrome...nicer than the original key I have.
Thanks again for your help.
