Vibrating while idle
I just noticed this the other while i was in neutral with the parking brake up, the car was slightly vibrating, i have no clue why, it was the first time this happened, i tried turning off the a/c but it still vibrated ever so slightly but still noticable, its an 05 e320 and i just put it in for 26k service, i asked my dealer and he said its normal, or is it?

Well, I can tell you one thing...it isn't normal! I had an '04 E320 for 3 years and never experienced even the slightest vibration.
One thing you should know though is that this car has an electronic braking system that uses an electric motor to provide pressure rather than a master cylinder. That motor runs at various times and it can be felt if you are not used to it. That may be what you are feeling. It will only be for a short duration.

You may be right, i was on a slight incline when it happened so Im thinking it might be the engine mount, as for the braking system - i hear it 'pumping' now and then but I dont think it is what was causing the vibration because at the the time i felt it there was no sound coming from it... i dont know im going to ask my dealer to check the mounts for me..

Is the car rocking or vibrateing? If is rocking gently then that is normal and replaceing the mounts will not change that. If vibrating then have the car looked at. The mounts can be collapsed eventhough it is much too early. Normally shouldn't happen until around 80K+ miles.
BTW, if it is the mounts then if you floor it, it should get much worse. Like the motor is about to jump out of the engine bay.

I guess that there are exceptions. However, if you crawl under the car and find the mounts you can see if they are collapsed. There should be about an inch of clearance when the car is sitting when you look at the mounts.
Oh, if case you don't know; the mounts are hollow like a ring with two bolts sticking out on each side (if a ring has a side).
