More Hp in E350 in 2009?

Was wondering if the E350 will get more than the standard 268hp in 2009? The competitors 535i has 300 and the GS350 has 306. Maybe the newer 2010 model may have 300+hp?

I doubt the 2009 E350 will have anything more than 2007-2008. They just switched from the E320 to the E350. The next engine they could use is the 450, but its doubtful for just 1 more year that they'd do that, although it would help boost "last production model" of the generation sales.

If you're looking just for HP, the E350 is obviously not the winner. Its a winner for a lot of other reasons, but not in the HP dept.

Also they really don't have a reason to add more Hp to the 350m bc if you want more Hp I'm sure they will say buy the 550 then. I'm sure when the new engines come out, the hp increse will be across the board. they want us to have a reason to buy the E5XX.

This is a good question. A new V6 is coming for the SLK and C-Class for the 2009 model year, but does the E and CLK get this engine too? Both the CLK and E will be in their last year so they may not, and the 2009 model year may be a short one. Or they may just drop the engine in both of them for 2009 even though the 09' is the last year, but I doubt that. They'll likely make the 09' E's run a very short one.
