NAV upgrade on E500?!

NAV upgrade on E500?!
Hey,
I am looking for 04 E500 Silver/Ash Sport and I know NAV is rare on these, so is the optional wooden steering wheel. If I find a car and it does not have wooden steering wheel and NAV I thought of just getting it on ebay, on MBW or elseware. All the cars I looked at the headunit had a NAV and MAP buttons on it. Is the DVD player just plug and play in the trunk? So all I would need to get is just a DVD unit and DVD disk? And how much are they? Thank you for any help..

Theres more to the NAV drive install than what you mention, among them getting a new & different left quarter interior trunk liner panel with an access door... and you have to be good with MBs crazy harnesses. There are people here & places that have done these installs before, if you search the forum.
The wood wheel is no problem to get and install if you are comfortable working on your car.
Both can be installed by a dealer also... for a higher price... but then you have someone to hold responsible.

thanks.. i did find a few threads on the install.. i guess I will have to buy a rebuilt drive and parts and then have it installed per DIY that people posted, well have an audio shop do it.. and the wheel I will try to find on ebay or here.. most import is to get the car in colors that I like with sport package..
