Pardon my cluelessness, but does "DL" stand for (on the) Down Low, meaning "hidden"? Always good advice, if a bit late in this case.
That's why I keep my E500 in my garage at night. With the garage door shut. At the end of a long driveway past my house. With the driveway gate shut.

I dont "floss" my car, it already attracts negative attention as it is hence the scartches on the hood and sides. Whenever I talk to someone and the subject comes up I dont stress the fact that its a nice car. I just play it off and act normal.

 

There are already so many E classes around my city that I don't feel special anymore.

 

hah .. if you "flossed" your car here in SoCal, people would laugh at you. I see Ferraris, Bentleys and Lambos in the parking lot of my local Albertsons (grocery store).

I could not agree more. Was in San Diego a few weeks back and I could not believe how often I saw myself coming and going. Particularly black 07 sports. They were everywhere!

 

Luckily, the car I've ordere E550 w/ 321AMG is still fairly unique even to SoCal but looks just like a E63 or E350 to the untrained eye, so I'm hoping for very little trouble w/ idiots.
