Wife's E350 4matic has a steering growl/vibration when backing the car out and cutting the steering wheel (90 degree turn). tires have 35K need to be replaced.

Could this be tires, steering hydraulics, or 4matic gearbox?

Check the fluid level... could be the slightest bit low.

These cars have small fluid tanks on the pump. Topping off the fluid should cure the growl.
