When will other MB models get "Search & Send"?

Search & Send works with the '08 C-Class and the '07 S and CL classes. Does anyone know when it might be available for other models?
Since the upload is made via TeleAid email, the feature can probably be added with a simple firmware update. So is it possible to install the firmware used for the nav of those models to add this feature to my E350? Does anyone know what firmware versions each model is using?
Having this feature would be convenient for me since my nav doesn't allow me to manually enter businesses names.

Correct me if I am wrong but their navigation systems are HDD based whereas the rest are DVD based. I am assuming MBUSA rather not spend the money to update the latter and the w212 will have this feature and more.
