His mama. Traded y0 mama in because she was squeaking.
Why is everyone messing with the CD changer?

You guys do know the head unit will play MP3 files off even a Dual Layer DVD, right?

Just make sure you strip ALL mp3 metadata out of the file. For some reason, it won't play mp3 files well if they contain embedded metadata.

I listen to large (size wise) audio books, some more than 40 hours in length. I split the audio books in 10 minute files, number them sequentially, burn them to a Dual Layer DVD and I'm off. Even with a 40 hour audio book, I still have plenty of room on the DVD for a nice selection of music if I want a break from the audio book.

1 DL DVD = 8.5 Gigs
6 regular CD's = 4.2 Gigs.

No brainer.

It is too bad the CD changer can't play DVD's (even single layer) though, since they lack the hardware.
