Please Help Something Is Wrong Wth my E500
hey guys, i started to feel something really weird in my car when i put it in reverse. it shakes a lot and sounds like a gargling sound. it sounds really bad. any idea of what it is. and the gas pedal shakes as well when i press on it when reversing. please help thanks in advance guys.

thats the problem i dont have warranty, i bought it from another dealer not an official mb dealer and they said that the car might have an extended warranty but i would have to go to the dealer with my vin and the mb dealer said that i had to have bought the car from them. so i dont have warranty on my car. should i just take it to my mechanic and see what he says it might be.

.what year is your car and how long you had the car. Also how many miles you drove it since you bought it.

when I bought my car it was "as is" too. bc there was a keyless go problem. however it was still under factor warranty, so $3,000+ in warranty repairs later my keyless go was working.

Check out the car's background. Don't believe what they tell you.
My friend bought an older SL500 once that was always in the shop. He eventually found out the car had an electrical fire & was not supposed to be sold, from another state. (Midwest to Florida)
They (MB I believe) took the car back.

ok guys guess i didnt have a recall on anything on my car after calling the dealer, but i went to my mechanic and the ball joints i think it was was messed up so i had him change that for me and the main issue was that the engine mounts were terrible. he changed those for me too but theres still one more issue its the harmonic pulley, he didnt fix that because he says that he thinks that there is a recall on that part and to go to the mb dealer and talk to them about it. oh and my transmission was leaking something and he took care of that for free for me. i left with paying him 500 cash for everything and the car feels great. oh and he even dropped my car for free too. it has a finger width in the front and 2 finger widths in the back. it feels so much better to have car that doesnt feel like sh%t. thanks again guys.
ps i have to go get another allignment though and my esp came on my cluster saying go to the workshop- but the button wont work and its not drifting all over the place.
