Hey BENZ O RAMA
good luck with the OEM cuad exhaust install...
one questionn, are you removing anything ealse? like the back catalizer, or the siliencer? im not sure if the car has these 2 things to be honest with you
, but i read that if you take one of these things off, the sound increases, not sure if it will give a bad resonance at the highway dough...
any thoughts?

I'm gonna talk to the guy about removing the resonator or possibly the secondary cat converter. I'm still undecided about this, as I really don't want the car to be too loud. It's a daily driver and when I did my magnaflow exhaust on this car, it was a bit too loud for my taste. I'm weird. If the car was fast, I wouldn't mind it being louder. Like say...an E63. But since the E500 isn't very fast, I don't think it should sound like it is. I know...it's just me.
I'm making my appt for this week and I'll be sure to post pics and sound clips.
Wish me luck!

Looks like I'll be pushing the install back about a week. I have some personnel issues at work that I have to deal with first. It's hard finding good workers these days. Friggin slackers!
I'll be sure to post sound clips when it's all done. Stay tuned.

I've got good news and I've got bad news...
Good news - I've confirmed my appointment for this project
Bad news - They had to push me back until Tuesday of next week 9/25/2007
Oh well, I'd rather them have the whole day and do it right than try to squeeze me in and do a rush job.
