Can someone help confirm part # for me?

Hello, everyone.

I'm hoping to retrofit an internal ski-bag into our 2004 wagon. We have a 60/40 split, but would rather use the ski-bag than drop a seat, when possible.

I've been given the following part #, but would like to know whether this is everything I'll need, or are there any other misc parts I need to acquire also? I'm thinking of ordering in the US (was quoted HALF the price that I was quoted in Canada ).

The part # I was given is: #A211 840 0062 9B51

Can anyone help?

Thanx!

PS: any instructions for retro-fitting would also be appreciated!

Part number A2118400262 (ski bag) with 9B51 Anthracite (Charcoal) interior color code sounds correct for your 211.282 – cannot comment on installation however, accessories normally come with instructions.

Thanx for double-checking for me. Unfortunately, I just noted that my US source won't ship to Canada.

Just double checking, did you notice the part number difference konigstiger gave, it seems we have the part for the sedan and now the part for the wagon.

I'm sorry... are you saying I have the wrong part # for a wagon, or that I have the right # for a wagon?

I saw two numbers, one is right, the other one isn't.

On your first post you talked about part number:
A211 840 00 62 while konigstiger provided the part number:
A211 840 02 62, see the difference.

I wonder if one version is for cars with 60/40, and another for those w/o.

Or did I just have the wrong part # to begin with?

A2118400062 = sedan, A2118400262 = wagon

Thanks for clarifying. I'd been running around with the wrong # from my dealer...

Follow-up question for the parts experts, if I may:

is part A2118400262 all I need to do the retrofit, or are there other miscellaneous parts involved?

Reason I ask is that I see a certain part listed in the Euro accessories catalogue that has the part # B6 766 0022. Please see attached file.

When I've seen part # like that in the past, they usually seem to be a "package" of parts.

OR, am I looking at a different product? The product, as described in the attached, may or may not be the same thing I'm looking for.

Appreciate the help!

B6 766 0022 doesn't appear to permanently attach to car, just sits there. You'll note it works for either S210 or S211. No other parts needed, then. You'll have straps running to tiedown loops on floor in front of rear (middle) seat bottom and then to loops in luggage compartment behind rear (middle) seat.

This part may need to be ordered from Europe. Your dealer may be able to do it or you can work with http://www.speed-autoteile.com

As for 211 840 02 62, it's item 800 in attached diagram.

Also associated with code 282 (ski bag) are items 810, 820, 830, 840, 850, and 860.

It appears that item 380 (cover, armrest, rear) is not present with ski bag. (I assume this means remove it)

Your dealer has this diagram and part numbers under 92 rear seat bench/022 rear folding backrest.

Oy... thanks for the clarification.

I'm going to see if I can find a US dealer that can source all of the required parts for me (CDN pricing being roughly 50% higher these days!). All I have to figure out now are some (elusive) install instructions; so far, I hear they don't exist.
