E320 + jackstands?
Ok, I won't have wheels for at least a day as I'm waiting for them to come from the company I bought them for, in the mean time, I don't have wheels to put on my car. Is it possible to put my E320 on jackstands until I get them? Shouldn't do any damage to it as long as they're in the right places. Anyone?

Could you tell me where I should place them? I'm used to having a solid rear axle car, this is the first time I'll put jackstands on a MB and IRS car.

At the front there is a spot in the centre, below the engine, that can be used but I was not able to find a photo showing where it is. Don't remember if there is a similar one at the back.

Unfortunately, this is a problem I've run into with my W211's. In the process of cost cutting, Daimler have removed the rubber pads that Mercedes had for years located under the rocker panels. These were used for mounting on jack stands or as spots for lifts to raise the car. These rubber pads were separate from the place where the jack contacted the car.
With the W211's, we're left with a problem in that if you use a jack to raise the car, you can't use that spot for the jack stand.
Apparently, you need a floor jack to work on W211's.

There was an interesting 4-page article published recently on this very subject, if you want a copy PM your email address.
Bud, yours is already on its way.

There's a nice rubber pad in the center basically under the engine that can be used with a floor jack.
Recent article in MBCA Star suggests that this rubber pad can be used to replace the jack sockets for jackstand use. That is, you go to dealer and buy four of them. Put the jack sockets back, of course, if you then go somewhere.

Why not just extract the oil? Research on this forum revealed that there is very little diff. bet. both methods. Plus many dealers extract the oil also. I just did my first DIY Benz oil change and it was so easy and clean!
