Is there such thing as a Xenon set up, non BIxenon???
I was just wondering, if all XENONS on the W211 had to be BI XENON...
?
And if so, do the regular Xenons have the SELF LEVELING , or not necesarily?

From what I understand, the Bi Xenon's are the only lights that have this feature. However if they are retrofitted this feature does not appear.

It is my understanding that the law requires that all new cars with xenons
to have the self leveling feature.
From what I understand this feature detects the cars position and aims the lights as not to offend oncoming traffic. Since this process is most noticable when you are parked and first put on the lights, it continues to monitoring the vehicles position and constantly adjusting their position.
This is why installing "after market" xenons, if not aimed properly, can offend oncoming drivers.
