Does your E500 give a light shake?
I noticed that when I turned on the ignition and let it sit idle, my car shake a little. I don't think this is normal. Does anyone here experience similar situation? I did not notice it yesterday when I was at the dealership. I tested the car numerous time and did not notice any weird thing at all.
Also, the teleAid does not work as well. I guess that this is a well known problem. I thought that MB took care of this by now???
So far, those are the only two things that I encountered. I hope that there isn't any thing else.

I just get a little paranoid since I did not notice it yesterday. I don't know if I did something to the car or it is just the way it is. I probably will ask the MB service to check it out anyway.

I may have heard the ticking noise, but it is not consistent. I need to pay some more attention. For example, this morning I did not hear it. When I drove to lunch, I thought I heard a ticking sound as I slowly accelerated the car.

Based on this and other threads, it seems like the ticking sound and shake are engine mount-related... which really is an easy dealer repair. But the real question is, "How did M-B allow this quirk happen in the first place?!?"

I know its not an E class but my CLK430 shakes once in a great while at idle. I just figured it was the V8 power getting ready to be unleashed!!!
