New Wheels!!! Check it..
Well, I took the twenty inchers off of my car. These are the 7 spoke wheels off the CLS with Pirelli P6 tires... 245/40/18 in front and 275/35/18 rear. I also changed out the center caps to the silve/chrome star style. Definitely something that hasn't been done a lot. I will most likely be selling the 20's here shortly.
Let me know what you think.

Well, I took the 20's off b/c with the sport suspension and the tire I was running they would touch the fenders if I took a sharp turn into a parking lot with a steep incline.
Yes, they use the same stock bolts.
Oh, plus I had bent three rims already in the random new potholes here in the DFW area... so I was sick of that as well.
These were factory take offs and the tires have nearly zero mileage on them. Best part is, I didn't pay a dime!

I believe that the original sport wheels that came with the car look better. Just my $0.02
But at the same token I also believe that MB should've put 275s in the rear instead of 265s.
Free is good.

Hey, I like them. Besides, it's all about what you like about your car anyway. I understand what you mean by bent rims. That's why I went to 18's when I changed mine, just because I had trouble in the past with my C class with 19's. And the ride didn't change much from the stock 16's to the 18's, but I even have the same continental tires that came on the AMG from the factory.
BTW: Share with us your secret for getting free rims / tires.

I'm with amdeutsch on this one. I would put the Sport stockers back on. I'm thinking of picking up a set myself to use as winter wheels.

Well, I'm partial to chrome rims. I've been looking and looking for just the right ones to replace the stock rims on my new baby. I'm keeping them at 18's though.
