My E500 Is Here!!!!
I got an e-mail from my dealer. I am scheduled to pick up my car on Thursday 10/31!!!!! As late as last week he was saying probably 11/5-11/10 for delivery. I can't believe it. If I can pick it up early enough and if it isn't raining here on Thursday I'll post pictures.

After all the jacking around and back a forth...it comes just about on time. Makes you wonder what kind of system they use to track the shipments.
Seems like it would be very simple to enter into a tracking system that :
a. it is shipped and the date
b. it is in transit
c. when it is scheduled to arrive in port.
Wonder why it doen't work that way.
Anyway Ray, I am excited for you. Have a lot of fun with the new car and post some pictures.

Thanks etenn, Crazy4cars, and Bmms8. Just talked to the dealer again and he said they should get the car tomorrow and I can pick it up around 2:00 on Thursday.

Since my car is still ages away and similiar in color and spec to yours,I have been living through you and the anxiety of waiting for a new car.

CrazyCars, you didn't get the wheel package while you were at it? I got them both styling & wheels. I was told by the dealership that the sport suspension that comes wtih the avantgarde is made by AMG also..
