You might want to change your thread title from 'buying' to 'renting'. Its misleading.

$62,380. I like it so far but VERY different from my Audi A6.

Are those rims on yours stock as part of the AMG package?

LR1, does your package come with P2? I was quoted about $800/month on a 39 month, 15k mile, 0 down (MSRP 54k, selling at 52k) which is about $800/month. This is a 08 E350 black on black with P2 package with no parktronic but with ipod and sports package. I'm not sure how ur MSRP of $62k with a small 1k down is only $635/month? Am I missing something ?

thanks!

2010 E350 4Matic w/sport package
Virex that sounds really cheap compared to my quote for 39 months, unless 27 months actually reduces the payment that much... check out mine...

2008 Black/Black E350 - 4matic - $52,400
P01 Premium I Package- $2,410
057 iPod Integration Kit - $425
321 AMG Sport Package- $2,000
600 Headlamp Washing System $100

SUBTOTAL $57,335

DESTINATION & DELIVERY $775

TOTAL $58,110

$715.73 per/mo. 39mos.

12,000 miles per/yr.

$4,400.06 due @ signing(Taxes $2,404.33 First payment $715.73 Bank fee $795.00 dealer fee $275.00 DMV fees 210.00)

Does this seem high? I am in NY, was hoping for $3,000 out of pocket at about $700/month, but I am getting quotes of $4,400 and $715 from one guy then $4,200 and $738/month from another guy. Also note that on the PDF sheet estimate they both emailed me, it is the same exact car they are looking at in the inventory.

I don't even want the iPod thing or headlight washer

Any help is appreciated or if you know of a dealer with better prices for this same car in NY, thanks.

you can do better
I got this in the bay area.

black on black, P2 package, parktronic, wood steering wheel, sport package is standard
39 mon, 15,000 miles/yr, 0 down ($1250 total drive off) for about $699/month. I think its better to wait till nov-dec timeframe.

Thanks for the reply.... is this the 4matic or RWD which I assume is cheaper? The car you got is without the AMG sport package I assume?

To compare, if you did get a 4matic which I was quoted and you got the P02 whereas I got the P01, there is $2,000 more for the P02 but there is $2,000 more for the AMG package on my quote so we can call that a wash. You got the Parktronic which is $1,120, so basically it seems your car with the options you chose is is $1,120 more than the options I chose, and you are getting $3,000 more miles which would probably be around $30 more per month.

$3,000 less total drive off, 3,000 more miles and a car that is $1,120 more...seems like a great deal!

What is the actual price you got on the car? Let me know if the car you got is the 4matic so that I know where are comparing apples to apples

My MSRP with options is at $58,110 and the invoice I found online is $54,003, from what I read about negotiating with dealers is that I should be able to get invoice. Getting invoice should bring my drive off way down as well as payments as it will be about a $4,000 difference. Anyone know how much less I should expect to pay monthly as well as drive off if I get $4,000 lower that the MSRP they quoted me?

Thanks!

The MSRP is about $57k, so I'm assuming they got it down to low $53k. This is a RWD, not 4matic with P2 package and no AMG package.

Yes. P2
You're up at $800 a month because of $0 down and mileage probably. I did $1k down and 12k per year. My MSRP was $62k, but my "selling price" was $52k. I don't have parktronic either.

I made an error in the quote I got... MSRP is $58,110

2008 Black/Black E350 - 4matic - $52,400
P01 Premium I Package- $2,410
057 iPod Integration Kit - $425
321 AMG Sport Package- $2,000
600 Headlamp Washing System $100
SUBTOTAL $57,335
DESTINATION & DELIVERY $775
TOTAL $58,110

.....but the selling price and lease payments was based off of $54,700 not $58,110... which seems to be getting closer to a really good price..

I still want the total drive off less than the $4,400 quoted and less than the $715/mo for 39 months , 12,000 miles but not sure if that is possible..

Any thoughts?

LRM1 - with your $635/mo, 39mos. 12k miles and $1k down, is that $1k down in addition to the out of pocket drive off (taxes, title, fees, etc etc) or is the $1k your total amount paid the day you got the car? If so that is a sick deal and great price of $52,000 down from $62,000 MSRP... I may have to go to your dealer... I am in NY.

BTW.. yo got 16% off MSRP which is insane... how did that happen? Let me know what your out of pocket was the day you got the car and maybe it will make sense to me... thanks..

Deisel, it's true since you're not that far away in New York, you might be able to pull off similar. Here are the details ;

MSRP:$62,380

E350 4 Matic
Sienna Black (Metallic paint)
P2
Panorama Roof
iPod
Sport (not AMG)
Designo Burl Walnut
Wood Wheel
Folding Rear Seats
Trunk Closer

Actual Selling Price $52k+

Total paid at signing; $2939
$1,000 Cap cost reduction
$635.44 First month
$1303.56 Bank, title, etc. No security deposit.

$635.44 per month for 39 months with 12,000 miles per year. I picked it up on September 18th. I wanted to take it later, like the 30th, but he begged me to take it on the 18th. Maybe he had some sort of incentive or contest.

I was questioning my deal at first when I read some of the other posts ($535 p/mo, etc) on this forum, but the concensus seams to be that I got a great deal. I worked with this guy for about 2 months before he finally gave me what I wanted. I got it at Globe Motors in Fairfield New Jersey. My sales Rep's name was Sherif.

Thanks for the reply, $52,000 sounds awesome. It also seems as if the dealer ate up the taxes because at my $54,700 my quoted drive off is about $4,400 which is - (Taxes $2,404.33 First payment $715.73 Bank fee $795.00 dealer fee $275.00 DMV fees 210.00).. I do not see where your taxes are in there? Can it possibly be in your payments? but at $635 that is amazing.

So it looks like your $1,306 was the bank fee, dealer fee and maybe DMV fee? a little off but seems that is what the $1,306 is then $1000 cap cost then 1st month of $635.

I am looking for $700 and under and no more than $3,000 out of pocket drive off. My MSRP of $58,000 and selling price of $54,700 compared to your selling price which is $10,000 lower than the MSRP easilty be able to get it to $52,000. But how did the dealer let your car go so below invoice? Amazing, I may have to go there as well.

Let me know where your taxes figured in.

He put the taxes in the lease payments. You should give him a call, but if you are looking at a sticker of $58, it shouldn't be that hard. The only thing he pressured me on was end of month. I had to take it early and at the very latest end of Sept.

The only thing I can think of is their FY calendar. I don't know if MBUSA runs on a CY fiscal year or a different one like I do at work. For me, end of September would have been the end of the fiscal half - so I would have been ready to deal. It is possible if MB runs April to March that Sept is also the end of their Fiscal half in whcih case it would explain the dealing. Like I said earlier, I was after him for 2 months. When I was there in July, and August, I couldn't get him under $720 then $699(with $4400 out of pocket) for a P1 and nothing else, no matter how much I tried. All of a sudden he calls me in September with this "awesome deal". I believe I got it at net/net/net according to a friend who works at the dealership.

My guess is he had a target he had to hit and wanted to pump the cars out the door in Sept. He was always looking at a chart in the managers office and filling in boxes (he was also ahead of everyone else).
