$500 off MSRP...
Just find that carsdirector is selling both E320 and E500 at $500 off MSRP. They also have a wood/leather steering wheel for $500 and Nav for $1200. I thinks a total saving of $2000+ is possible now.
I live in the Northern VA/Washington DC area and dealers here are sticky with MSRP. No deals.

Too bad, rayscar;-). Yeah, looks like it's by area. I entered zip code 94539 (CA) it showed $500 off. When I entered 08807 (NJ), it showed only $86 off. It's worth to check out what's carsdirector's offer in your area. It'll be a good start point to bargain with your local dealers.
If you want the better deal, you can frequently get it from the online site. Just expect to get it from the online site and whereever its delivering from, and not necessarily (though possible) from your local dealer. You may lose out on some service benefits if your local service dealership ties those to cars bought from their lot though. . .

That sounds like one of the best we have heard. You should probably grab it...if you are ready to buy. I guess you could hold out for $2500. just to round it off.

Seems like it would be cheaper that the $1,000. to ship it...and a lot more fun. You could drive into Las Vegas on the way back and cruise the strip in your new Benz.
Is this a stock car or a factory order?
As for the shipping, it depends on if you are ordering from Germany or from the dealer's lot. The reason is if you order from Germany, (I remember read from some other place) some dealer willing to do a 'courtesy receiving’ (not sure if this is the right term). Meaning you can order in one remote place and asked your salesman to find a dealer near where you live to receive it (from overseas). Your local dealer should only charge the remote dealer (where you order for a $300~$400 processing fee. Of course you are the one who will pay for it in most cases. If your car is already on the remote dealer’s parking lot, that’s pretty much it. You have to pay for whatever shipping charge it will take.

I don't mean to be nosey, but which dealer quoted you $2100 off the MSRP?
Also, Apurva make sure you are up to date on your homework on invoice prices v/s MSRP on options as well. May be they will make money on options and hence the big discount for you. I had so far heard 1250 off MSRP by more than one CA dealers.
i am in SoCal....bought it at house of imports in buena park.
