2009 E63
Anyone have pics of the 2009 E63? I have several photos of the new E but the 63 has to be a beast! Maybe my next car...
What do you all think?

I know this isn't the AMG E63... But it's the best photos I could find. I really like the design. The back is similar to the CL, the side like the CLS and the front like an S with 2 piece lights.
I hope the final is close to this cause I'm saving for a E63 now! Sure it'll have wide fenders, vents on the front bumper and other extras that say AMG.

That's a really old rendering. Besides the W212 will be a MY 2010 available in late fall of 2009. The 2009 will be just like the 2007/2008. Search the forum for other shots.
It's looking like the W212 is getting more design cues from the new C-Class. I was hoping to steal more from the S-Class.

I would not hesitate to order a C63 or 2009 E63 when I'm ready. Not to mention black series CLK. I feel that MB has been much better with quality control and especially in the AMG models.
But the older ML's did have issues with the first 2 years. 01 model seems very stable problem wise.

I think it will be following more of this design, which has cues from the new C Class

Cool. I think I have already seen the pictures a year ago, however I'm glad to see them again. I like what I see. Certainly similarity with GS makes it looking better.

Not necessarily... I have a 2001 C320, one of the first orders placed. It's running like new with 130k. Any issues were covered under warranty and there was nothing major.

Whatever that is, I really like it. I was thinking about a CLS for my next car, but wow...I don't know if I'd sacrifice the space after seeing the 212.

IluvS500, thanks for the updated pic. I like that one too.
AnthonyCaponett, I was thinking the CLS too but just had a baby so I need space too. 212 E63 might be the answer. I drove the S550 this weekend but it was too big and doesn't feel like it will be as much fun to drive as an AMG model in the same price range.

Sigh......No door rub strips? Idiots. Don't they live in the real world?
You know- the one where people sometimes have to park near or next to inconsiderate, inattentive and clueless dolts who just fling doors open without paying attention.
Looks nice on the showroom floor, but not so much after a year or more in the real world. I was hoping the Germans would not embrace form over substance, but here we are.....
