Both side markers have failed?

Both side markers have failed?
I took delivery of my 08 E550 on Sept 14th. Within 72 hours the left front marker bulb (the orange light on the left front of the car .. the ones that people want to convert to clear all the time) failed. I'm assuming its the bulb of course. It generated the error code on the MFD.
Yesterday, I got the error code for the other side. I haven't yet checked if it doesn't work, however, the code has disappeared.
Seems very odd that I got error messages for both within such a short period of time.

I hope you reported this to the dealer and they helped you.
Also on a side not, has anyone found clear side marker lenses fo the 08 benz? I would really appreciate some help. I can only find older model clears, and my 06 clears obviously wont fit. PLease help!
