Cd Changer having problems
ok guys heres my issue. i bought a cd changer from mbdoctor. i recieved it and installed it but it had a really bad sound to it. he gave me anther one and then i installed that one. so far it was working fine except that everytime i put a cd in it just says cd error. itll work right whenever it wants. i have to put a cd in about 10 times until maybe it starts working. and i used all types of cds. i used mp3 cds, and regular albums.

Did you ask him if the changer could be reset?(by holding down buttons maybe...it works on w203 changers)
I am sure he will take care of it one way or another.He is a fair guy.I got a few things from him also.

do u know what that code is on the w203. or if there is anybody else that knows.

The w203 only has 1 button (eject) and as far as i can remember,i just had to hold it down for some time.W211 could be more complicated but while waiting for the doctor's respons you could try the the the good ol' power cable trick.

Thanks . What fuse number is it for the cd. I bought my car second hand and have no fuse chart. Whis fuse box is it located in, this one in the trunk or the one beside the door frame on the drivers side?. Thanks for your help

Thanks. On my car for some reason its fuse # 8 on the left side. I had the cd on when I pulled to fuse and the cd went out. I put the fuse back in but to no avail CD still will not play. any other ideas?

alright guys heres what i did and SO FAR is been working. instead of using cd-r cds i bought some cd-rw and they have been working fine but ive only tested it with about 3 cds and they havent given me an error code. thanks guys for the help.
