I have looked at the threads to track your shipment after build date. I have a VIN for my E550 4matic, but when I enter it, it cannot find anything. I was told that the WWL auto cargo tracking site is primarily for east coast deliveries. Mine is a west coast delivery in California. Netstar showed a ship assigned on 10/23, but I hate to keep calling the dealer.
Can anyone provide a site that will allow me to track my VIN to the west coast (Port Hueneme)? Also, the Sailwx ship tracking site does not have anything on the Maersk Teal which I believe is the ship it is on. In fact, the last tracking history for that boat is April.
Any help will be very welcomed.

Sailwx only shows ships that report weather.

If your car is on a Wallenius Wihelmsen ship, you can go here http://www.2wglobal.com/www/customerCentre/index.jsp select Cargo Tracking and enter your VIN number. My car came to the west coast on a Japanese ship so it's possible your car can't be tracked other than by the dealer.

If you know what ship your car is on, you can check the Panama Canal to see when it's expected and you can also check the port current vessel schedule by going here http://www.portofhueneme.org/home.php

The ship it is on is Vega Leader. It shows as a NYK-line ship with an SIS number of CNUB051. It left Bremerhaven 24 October.

I do not see Vega Leader however, there is NYK Vega in their fleet http://www2.nykline.com/liner/fleet_list/index.html

MBUSA VPC (Vehicle Processing Center) will be Carson, CA and then on to dealership.
