on MBUSA build your own section, it makes it look like you can either order AMG or Sport, but NOT both.

does this mean that when you order the AMG pkg, you do not get:

1. lowered suspension
2. perforated brake rotors
3. headlamp washers
4. blue tinted glass
5. matt chrome instrument cluster with white gauges

I know for a fact that you do get a lowered suspension, and the chrome instrument cluster.

I dont think you get the blue tinted glass.

No idea about the perforated brake rotors.

The headlamp washers are actually part of the Bi-Xenon package (I think thats P2) and not either of the sports pkgs.

Thats interesting. Wonder if its an error by MBUSA. The E550 comes std with the sport package and will let you order the AMG package. But the E350 seems to have that restriction.

For 2008, I believe you can only get the car in 333 Sport with the option of swaping that 333 Sport w/ the 321 AMG Sports Pkg for $2k.

I heard that complaint for people wanting to order the non-sport. Since I wanted the 321 pkg, I dont know if thats true.

Well, in Germany you can buy either package with either the Elegance (US luxury) or Avantgarde (US sport) package. Therefore it makes one wonder if on the E350 one would get the Elegance based AMG package. I'd guess that on the E550 you'd get the Avantgarde based AMG package the way MBUSA is configured.
Keep in mind that the Saks special edition E350 was an Avantgarde based AMG package.

If you order the AMG sport package, you get absolutely get all of the components of the 321 package with the addition of the AMG front and rear bumper, AMG wheels and AMG steering wheel. The AMG stuff is "on top" of all of the other sport components.

I dont think you get the blue tinited glass if you order the 321 AMG Pkg. I've seen several 08 photos so far on this forum, no blue glass. I have an 08 E550 coming in, and no blue glass from what I understand.

Take my word for it You get everything from the 333 sport in addition to the AMG components. The graphic from the DOG is meant to show what the AMG package has in addition to the 333 sport. Also, MY07-08 sport models, both 333 and 321 are based on Avantgarde which includes Blue glass. Don't let the pics fool you, the glass can be hard to see.

is the window tint on amg pkg really deep or is it light like the 333 sport?

There is blue tint on the 321 AMG Sports Pkg. I didn't think I had it until I saw the car at the detailer and he had just washed it. The water on the car made it clear the glass is infact tinted blue.

Its not a lot of tint, barely noticable.
