Which rear lip spoiler? 2 to choose from...

The car: 2008 E350 4matic Black/Black w/AMG sport package...

In doing my research the one at ForMyMercedes.com (Lip Spoiler for W211 - #W211-1Piece) seemed to be the one to get. I then saw the Dynamic Performance Lip Spoiler which from only 1 pic I can find of it, seems to look lot nicer, sleeker and better looking fit. Is that the case or are these both the same and the photo just makes it look different? From the photo I would go with the Dynamic Performance Lip Spoiler.

ForMyMercedes.com spoiler: http://www.formymercedes.com/images/W211-1Piece.jpg

PerformanceProducts4Benz.com - Dymanic Perfomance Lip Spoiler: http://content.performanceproducts.c...425/190520.jpg

Any opinions would be appreciated, as I could not find much doing the search, thanks.

PS...If anyone has any other photos of the Dynamic Performance Lip Spoiler, it would be great, thanks.

I would have agreed until I saw the Dymanic Perfomance Lip Spoiler. Don't you think the formymercedes.com spoiler looks a little odd that is has a little gap as well as a little obtrustive so to say wherease the Dymanic seems to flow and really look like it is a part of the car, "classier" look so to say? With only 1 photo though it is hard to tell, would love to see more.

Thanks for the reply.

+1. Same here even though there a little space between the end of lip to the side of the trunk gap. I still like the stylish look of the AMG lip spoiler.

E63 all the way. Even if the E63 spoiler was $500 and the other was FREE, I'd choose the E63 spoiler.

Wow really? Interesting, I did not realize there was such a huge following of the E63 spoiler compared to the Dymanic, I may have to consider it, I just wish I could see more pics of the Dymanic one on a car.

Thanks!

Both very classy, though obviously the E63 will keep your car looking like a true Merc since it's their design. Also, the DP one seems much thinner and "blade-like" (like the new C-class spoiler), which in my opinion - you'd want the added heft and body of the E63 lip on a car this size..

I am going to the dealership on Monday and I will look at the E63 AMG that they have on the lot and check out the spoiler, I assume formymercedes.com spoiler is just about identiical to the OEM one on the E63 AMG?

Thanks.

Thanks guys, I guess the E63 does seem the way to go especially to maintain the original MB look... just that other spoiler seemed interesting as I have never seen it before and it is very sleek...

Benz-O-Rama - you got yours from formymercedes.com?

E63. That's what's on my Capri Blue E550. It really made the rear of the car look a bit more agressive, yet not 'in your face'...

No sir. I got mine during the same group buy as W211Ryda. Neal at Eurotekmotorsports is a class act. I will say that whichever one you get, make sure the body shop that paints it, preps it well. If not, you'll see pits in it which you don't see before it gets painted.

Good luck!

Ahh ok, I was going to go with one of the painted ones but if you think this is the better route, I may just use my local body shop to paint it. Wonder what they charge to paint and install, $150? more...thanks again for the help.

Hey Pare! What did it cost you to get the tail painted? Did you use the 3m adhesive tape to put it on or did they drill?

I'd go with the E63 one too. I have it on mine and I think it looks the best.

Kumusta pare! It cost me $225 to have it painted at my local MB dealership. The spoiler comes with the 3M double sided body moulding tape, but I added another strip of tape just in case.

I'm wondering if I should buy one off of eBay painted already for $320 or buy one unfinished and get it painted here. I guess it's a pretty good deal getting one painted off of eBay for $320.

It might be a better deal to get one already painted. I know this thread is a year old, but you should check out the E63 spoilers from directsalesanddesign. It comes already painted.

I emailed the guy and says that he can have one painted the color you want within a day and ready to ship the next day. I'm thinking of ordering one myself.
