Dension: Gateway 500

For about a week now, I have been thinking about purchasing a Gateway 500. A few things have left me without making the purchase and I was hoping a few of you kind Gentlement would hook me up with some answers and feedback.

Questions:

Who sells it and for how much?

What do the current owners think about it's performance?

I would love to know how well it integrates with the Command and how well the BT integrates as well.

I own a '04 E320 and apparently, you have to know which version of the command you own. The Manufacturer asked me, "Could you please confirm if the OEM headunit is Command or Command APS?" After asking him, "how would I know that?", he never responded. Does anyone know which version I have? All I have been able to find is that the '05 E was delivered with MOST... but still don't feel 100% on that.

Am I missing something, Is there a better option than this thing? I am really wanting BT, video would be great, Ipod would be cool, SAT for sure.

The biggest reason is i found this device while looking for a satellite radio option 2 (less expensive than Mercedes option) and it looked VERY cool. On the other hand, I still don't have sat. radio in the car... any ideas?

Can you Gurus help me out with a few answers on this? I would love to at least know what hardware to buy and where.

I am looking forward to reading the responses...

Hold your horses. Just like you everybody else is working as well. And once they figure out how to misspell it in the search function they might answer. In the mean time there are numerous reports and testimonials for you to read. HTH

This is a complete guess, but I'm wondering if they're (awkwardly) asking you whether you have an Audio 50 head unit, or a COMAND head unit. (Audio 50 has cassette, COMAND doesn't.)

I don't know if Denison is compatible with the Audio 50 units.

How much is it? This is a very interesting concept -- please let us know if it works with your COMAND unit.

Best of luck!
