XM ready?
haha, you're kidding right ? Seriously, no I don't believe either one are xm 'ready'. You'll probably have to RF it, or use aux input on the Comand system. Remember, you're dealing with an auto manufacturer that up until 2 years ago was still putting tape decks in their cars. . .
If XM is around when they do their next major audio/vid/nav system, then it may be incorporated. The XM service is good, but both companies are in very dire financial straits. . .

The satellite radio provider for Mercedes will be Sirius not XM. Check out the following link:

Those wide ranging cars are all in the Chrysler line. I don't believe any in the MB line have Sirius. . . Also, since Sirius is in deep financial trouble, I'm skeptical if it'll ever make it to market in an MB.. .

Thanks BMMS8,
I'll check out your pix from home tonight (can't risk having El Jefe catch me surfing when I should be workin, lol!)
I just thought they might be satellite ready cuz the antenna on the center rear of the roof looks a lot like the XM antenna. Blame it on my newbie ignorance,
