300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
The
dealer has a little button they push when running low on revenue
Only kidding,not to much kidding though.
It may be for your first check up after break in period or check your manual as to the schedule.Seems quite short what with extended intervals etc.
Call the dealer and see if it is so,if not due then they will reset the interval and send you on down the road.

I bought a GL off the lot. The car was put in service a month before I bought it because the dealer thought it was sold and was to be delivered the day the timer started but the buyer backed out at the last minute. Since the GL had only 10 miles on it the explanation seemed reasonable. My service reminder came up a month early.
