I think they are the same, except the second one has the license plate on and the first one has the Parktronic feature!

I just looks like the U.S. sport package to me!
Anyone agree?

Bmms8, I think the grill is the same too, it appears to me that it is just the lighting as the first photo is taken at night.

I agree with DLAU's conclusion. However, sometimes MB just isn't careful about having all elements of the brochure and other marketing photos be consistent with what is actually being sold. There were times when they showed 5 ribs in the grill of a non'sport model for example.

ElDiabloJoe, I believe if you look at the 1st pic closely then you will see (because of the view) only 5 small dimples on the front bumper. I think those are the parktronic sensors. If I am wrong someone please correct me!

You are correct. The parktronic sensors are in the front bumper corners. See also the picture and the caption in the E320 brochure.

i agree w/ you. i think it may be the lighting conditions which make the slats on the grill seem thinner than they are, and the same light also is making the surrounding portion of the grill seem less chrome and more dull where it blends in with the silver paint and the darker interior slots of the grill. the only difference i see is the parktronic and euro plate, and the girl in the driver seat in the first pic! just my $.02!

The first photo is of an North American, or at least U.S. E-Class because of the side turn signals on the bumper. The second is a German model. That is apparent because of the license plate, there are also no turn signals on the bumper. The first photo differs as well with the Parktronic as an option that is visible through the front sensors. Both have the sport package which is why the bumpers are different form others models you might have seen.

Vivien's pic is from the E Brochure

I just noticed that Vivien's pic is from the "10:28pm" pages in the big brochure (they are not numbered otherwise). The caption indicates that the photo shows the sport package and parktronic!! The version Vivien posted just has the brightness messed up so you can't see the grill properly.

That's no pic problem. That grille is different. It looks like the "frameless" MH Dezent style.
