Question on A/C
I have '06 E350 and have some question on A/C of the vehicle. I am wondering if it's normal to have temperature difference between center vent and side & rear vents. I am getting cooler air in the two center vents while I am getting warm air from the side and rear vents(usually around 72). There is pretty obvious difference when I am using the manual mode. When I use the auto mode, the center vent usually shuts off unless I set the temperature very high(more than 78) so I couldn't check the difference at 72 yet.
I have it checked with local dealership, but they couldn't find any error code in the system. They told me that it's by design
They also said that the center vent is more for the cooling than heating so it's cooler than side and rear vents. When I met with local MB owner who has exact same car as mine, he told me that his car doesn't do that. What's your experience on your E350? Your expert opinion would be very much appreciated. Thank you!
