yea hes right, claying was the easiest thing on earth, but on our 98 camry, i was horrified about how long it took, and the results are not close to the e500, also, the color that you have makes a difference, our e500 is blk, so it was very easy to see zaino go on and off, but on the camry, it was very hard because it was silver, even in direct sunlight, you really couldn't see it

To me some on some shots the car looks dirty, it is good too see that even Mercedes can't get rid of orange peel in the paint.

Two reasons:
1) You are seeing mostly the reflections
2) It's obsidian black, up close it is not as dark as regular black.

Got 3 coats done by the dealer instead of regular process! Of course for them, their process is better. No glazing done. Got to wait for a sunny day but the dealers other black cars looked dusty by comparisom. Even on a dull day, the reflection on the paint/polish is mirror like.

I must say, it was after looking at your results from your first posting that convinced me to push for it being done. Dirt just seems to wash off with gentle water stream.

bmms8...after seeing your post I decided to try Zaino on my wife's black E500...I've been using Zymol for the last 3 years on all my cars... but after doing 2 coats of Zaino on the new E... I'm converted... going to do my bimmer this weekend...I also used it on the wheels and it helps reduce the amount of brake dust that sticks to the wheels....great stuff...thanks for the inspiration!

He elected not to purchase any on the account that his car is generally swirl free. I'm one of the nutcakes who thinks Z5 alone looks better (on black). Z2 is a little too reflective for my tastes, but some people find this the most desirable effect. I think Pinnacle Souveran is the best looking wax next to P21S, so perhaps people will not agree with me. Z5 alone gives a slightly different effect than topping with Z2.

It was not designed this way, but I like Z5 for darker colors and Z2 for lighter ones.
