AUDIO 50 APS would like to change with COMAND APS
hello
i would like to change my current car audio system AUDIO 50 APS with COMAND APS.
My car is W211 E 270 CDI 2002 year.
i was checking on mercupgrades.com PART numbers.
Whic comand aps would be compatible with my car?
Comand APS 7039 ?
i was planning to buy some comand aps over ebay.

is procedure of changing DIY or should dealer change it ?

Odd if some info is missing, can always ask for further details.
Since you already have APS, you should not need much more than the Comand HU and the Navigation unit in the trunk, plus the linings.
However, a number of other units may need to be upgraded even if those already exist in the car, for a 2002 car this could be likely. The list includes AGV, CDC, phone control unit.

Comand APS as such could be almost anything depending on the car model it was intended to. I do not know the differences on W211 compatible models either but I would pick up (one of) the latest, from those available for this car from the factory.
