Problem with new v7.0 Navigation disk update
I just purchased a new copy of Navteq's Mercedes-Benz North America Map Update - Harman Becker COMAND DVD - NTG1 v.7.0 for my 2005 Mercedes E-500.
I put the new disk in the trunk DVD and it doesn’t seem to be working. The bottom of the screen shows GPS coordinates and altitude but no streets are displayed. Also the screen inside the speedometer is showing the direction and the named street properly.
Is there some procedure I need to carry out prior to installing this new disk? The system says "Navigation not active" The disk did not come with any instructions other than to say pop the new disk in.
Any advice is appreciated

Mention DTB P-B-82.85/524a AUG07 they need to update the navigation module software.
