Question trouble closing glove compartment?

i dunno the glove compartment really doesn't want to close. could it be the hinges? and does your car have trouble finding a gear?

you really have to slam the glove compartment closed..its a bad design imo, but very nice car overall..

my car has no problem finding the gears...there are only 5, how hard can it be hehe..

yea it isnt as easy as others, it doesnt even seem like there are any hinges, but i like the idea that there are no handles, it is just the button thats is flush with the glove box

With the shelf in place I can't get the owner's manual in and close the door of the glove compartment. I put the manual in the passenger door storage space to allow me to use the driver's side for umbrellas, sunglasses, etc. What have the rest of you done?

jhb, take out that shelf, and you can fit everything, hats what we did, so if we get in trouble or anything, we can look it up in all the boos and stuff

The rear arm rest is designed to store the manual, not the glove box.

Very clever as the manual is in a convenient place while not taking up storage room in the front dashboard.

The big manual doesn't quite fit without a serious slam, and that can't be good for the latches or hinges. I just took the little mini manual and stuck that in there. Stick the big manual in your trunk if you worry about it. (I just left mine in the garage for future reference and resale)

I put the manual in the trunk under the cover in the wheel well of the spare. That way I save all of the prime space in the interior.
