Installation tip: How did you install it? Barry suggested using mix of dishwashing liquid and water to assist during the installation process.

I sprayed a lil windex + water to keep it damp and it was a HORRIBLE idea. It was wet and took over 3 hours just to dry which was wayyy to long. The end doesn't stick down all the way because of that. I highly recommend that you just make sure you line it up perfectly and then just stick it on dry. That should stick on stronger. Make sure you stick it on perfectly as it is kinda tough to remove once it is stuck on.

By the way, I just got my car back today. Just finished installed the front grill and the flat hood emblem. It was too dark to take the lip spoiler, I'll take it tomorrow. Here is an attachment of my car for now...
Oh Vim, post a before and after of your car ok. I'll get my up asap. Tell me what you guys think of the attached pictures.

We should be able to compare the two when mine arrives at the dealer and I or the dealer installs it; I will take similar pictures. My "before" pictures are available in an earlier post in this thread.

Lip Spoiler update
The spoiler arrived today and I asked the dealer to install it. When he checked with his guys, they suggested I take the car to their body shop. The bodyshop guy said he uses polyurethane glue; he does not rely on 3M tape. See thread below.

Not wanting to mess with any glue on my new car, I will let them install it; cost $90+tax. I will get this done on Monday. I know I am really $700 for a spoiler and installation.

I could have bought a Honda Civic Hybrid; everyone suggested it for my long daily commute as an alternative to driving my beloved SUV. Instead I opted for a Bluetec and have no regrets. This was a small present for my baby.

E63 Spoiler Installed on Bluetec with pictures
It took all of 1:40hrs for the installation today. Considering it was 13 degrees outside, the first hour they warmed the vehicle up in a bay equipped with external heaters prior to installing the spoiler. Then it was back in the warm bay for another 20 minutes.
It is bright, gusty and dusty in NJ today, nevertheless I took a few pictures.

I am planning to install a pre-painted 07 E63 trunk lip spoiler on my 07 E320 Bluetec. I looked up spoilers on Ebay and none of these look original, though the price is less than 150. I called up my local MB dealer and a matching prepainted spoiler is 556.50 plus tax. My son thinks I am crazy paying a rip-off price(perhaps he is right) though I am keen to buy the original item. What do you think?

Call me cheapo, but I am DIY type. So, what are you thinking about your next mod. My next biggest thing is get my car in for Service F...that's going to be costly.

Fancy wheels/tires are presently on hold till I know where I will be working next; if it is again going to be 150 miles plus daily round trip, I will stick to my stock 16's else I'll go for staggered or same 18's.
What I am presently obsessed with (only since I recently saw it on a current thread in this forum) is a Brabus front bumper with CF spoiler; looks sick on black. The only other cosmetic mod is OEM front and back lit up door sills; I looked at after market ones but alas I am keen on OEMs with an MB install.
