Heated Seats E350

Does anyone have details on how I might retrofit heated seats into an 06 E350 ?

I'm wondering if the heat pads are sewn into the leather, and if so ... does that mean I have to purchase two new seats?

Any thoughts?

It can be done...Contact Steve @MBENZNL.com or S_Krabbenborg@hotmail.com

We did my W210 and W211 also the W209

The W211 will require a new switch panel/wireharness and seat pads
The Pads are sewn into the leather covers ..

Another option is to install FULL Option front seats
With
Heat
Ventilation
Multicontour
Drive Dynamic
Massage

Retrofit will cost you about $800-1000
You need to purchase
1. New switch panel 211 821 8558 approx $150-170
2. Control unit 211 870 2026 approx $250-300
3. Cable harness 211 540 9210 approx $50-70
4. Heated seat pads Waeco MSH50 or similar approx $100-150
Installation is approx $300-400 depending on the workshop.

New leather covers will cost about $600 each + all listed above spare parts, except heated pads + installation
