climate control question

so i searched the forum and the owners manual and can't seem to figure this out - is there a way you can control the climate temp so that the temp on driver and passenger move up/down together when the driver controls it?

i thought there must be some obscure way to do it, but the manual doesn't mention anything about it so i think i'm outta luck...

Good question and I never thought about it. I usually change it manually up front because I have the dual climate control. I dont' think its possible but I could be wrong.

That feature should be located on the DIC. It would be a good way to set all the 4 zones to match the temperature set by the steering wheel up & down buttons.

I really wished that my W210 had that feature. Most other cars, including GM vehicles, have this when dual zone climate is offered. I tried several combinations of buttons when I first got my W210 trying to get that to work, but gave up when I didn't locate it in the manual.

The tunnel feature is nice on the W211, holding down the recirc button!

I guess MB agrees as they have implemented a "mono option" on the W221 which makes both sides adjust simultaneously (when so selected).

I was trying to figure this one out too.
In my Explorer, you have to manually select the dual conrol to give you access to that feature. It's more convenient when your by yourself.

So is the verdict, you CANNOT set it up to work this way?

i think the general consensus is that you cannot do it, since no one has actually said they know how to do it! i posted ithis question on the E63 forum too and same thing - some people think it's possible, but no one has actually done it.

so annoying, but i guess i will have to manually adjust passenger side from now on.
