Install Phone Cradle and BT Adapter

First let me say this my be a redundant post, but i am new, so please forgive.

OK, here is my question, just picked up a 2004 E320 Sport, and it does not have the phone installed, i am wanted to add the V60 cradle and the bt adapter so that I can use it with a spare Sprint Motorola V3m that I have on our business plan. I have seen posts that show the phone cradle just plugs into a rj45 back in the console and then you just plug in the BT adapter into that but i dont see a jack in the top console. Can anyone please tell me exactly what i need to puchase and how hard it is to make work. Thanks again.

You have to take the console apart to plug the cradle in. It's a piece of cake. Search this forum for "Sick of waiting for Argos" and you'll see a .pdf attachment in one of the posts that show you exactly how to do it.

Thanks for all the info, it looks pretty straight forward, especially if I do not need to instll the compensator in the truck. I had one more question, I saw somewhere a cradle for the RAZR, will that work in the 2004? That way I could just leave the phone in the car and not worrry about charging it. (I Assume the cradles charge the phones) Thanks again for all the info

The cradles do indeed charge the phone, but there is no Razr cradle for 2004 models. You'll have to get the V60 cradle and Bluetooth module that fits V60 cradle in order to use your Razr.

Isnt there another option out there for the 2004 E class? Called the "puck and tail"? Whats the difference between these 2 options?

Thanks for any info,

Will

Question, Cam I just purchase any V60 from ebay that is made for a prepaid carrier and just leave it in the car, does it have to be a MB V60?
