DTB P-B-82.64/607 FEB08 - Cannot operate CDC, cannot eject or draw in CD, CD jumps or skips noticeably, and/or CDC sets an over-temperature diagnostic trouble code (DTC) that is stored. The fastening/mounting bolts will be replaced if found to be too long. If the changer shows no physical damage, the condition may be due to a software error. In this case, the CDC is replaced with part #A2118705390.
Once again, normally DTBs will not apply out of warranty. However, the original CDC has been replaced with a modified part to correct a known malfunction. Therefore, depending on your negotiation skills, request a goodwill repair from MBUSA through the dealer if out of warranty.
