Nav upgrade 2004 E-320
I have for sale the 2 OEM MB disks necessary to do the Nav upgrade. I downloaded the software on the internet but could no get it to work properly. My dealer was not cooperative, he wanted to do the upgrade at an outrageous cost. I got my son's MB dealer to order the 2 disks. They come with complete instructions and all went well. I offer the 2 MB OEM disks for sale for $60 including shipping. You still need the latest data disk from Navtech.Com The disks are the Comand upgrade CD for the dash and the DVD upgrade which is used in the trunk.

MB Part numbers
The CD for updating the Comand unit is part number 211 589 14 22 00
The DVD for updating the DVD player in the trunk is 211 589 15 22 00
To the best of my knowledge these disks will update any nav system from 2004 on that need the update. These are the latest updates for model 211

I have a 2004 e500 i was wondering about upgrading since i do not have navigation. How much is the dvd drive do you know?

I have no answer to your question. Some members have reported their comand system will play MP3 dvds after upgrade. The disks I have are sold by me only as a pair for the $60 including shipping. I suggest that if you want to try the upgrade you can purchase the disks, do the upgrade and offer the disks for sale again as they will have no value to you after the upgrade.

Should work
My E-320 model 211 was manufactured in 2003. According to what I have read this upgrade is for all 211 models which have not been upgraded each year. In other words it is a cumulative upgrade for all model 211's.
