Cd Changer Door

Hi everyone,im replacing my comand with a pioneer avic d3 nav unit as my comand screen is pure white now cannot see any of the functions even though everything still works fine??? go figure!! my question is is there a way to get the cd changer door to open and close when there is no cd changer or comand plugged in?? i want to place my crossover in the cd changer location and be able to hide it behind the door!!

Will work perfectly w/o CD changer. Don't know about COMAND.

Thats because there are very few members (if any) here that have tackled a full system replacement, and we are nosy ba$tards that want to see if it will work or not....

so far the only complaint that i have is the changer door not working; everything else is flawless so far,no steering wheel controls for the radio but what the hell it isnt that bad to reach a little to the radio,other than that im happy i went with O2 6.5 door speakers all the way around,beyma tweeters in the stock location,a kicker 350.4 amp for the surrounds, and a JL 12w7 with a JL 500/1 mono amp and pioneer avic d3
