17" Alloy Wheels and Tires

Anyone need a set of 17" alloys and tires. They have new Dunlop SP Sport FM 901 tires on them. 245/45/17. There are some very small scratches but no nicks or gouges. They were a take off from my 2003 E-500 when I got my Brabus wheels.

$400.00 for the set, buyer picks up or pays shipping.

I am in the SF Bay Area

Selling tires and /or rims on this site requires posting pictures of what youve got for sale. I mean how does anyone know what you're actually selling? This should be made into a rule. Moderators, please consider this...

You are kiding right? That is offensive...To anyone considering buying them, as if they do not know what a stock 211 E-500 alloy looks like? The picture would show two things:

1) Style, well, stock

2) Condition. That was addressed in the original post.

I am cleaning out the gargae and due to weather could not do pics outside. wifey says no to those wheels in the house.

If someone wants them just PM and I will get pics out later this week.

BTW, priced dropped to $375 for the set of four. If they don't sell in 1 week I am going to donate them and take the tax write off.

Why is that offensive? I agree with ruffrob that a pic of the wheels and tires would be nice. Personally, I would never purchase items such as these without first seeing them.

Plus....

I think there were 2 different styles of 17" wheels for the 2003 E500.

As do I, I believe they were the Rucha, the five spoke wheels from the sport and/or appearance packages, and the Ankaa, the standard 5-twin spoke offered in 16" and 17" on the W211 for quite a while.

The wheels are sold. Thanks to all who replied via e-mail. Sorry about the no pics thing, but guys I was selling a set of wheels on a rainy day for the price of dinner with wine

I knew they would sell and couldn't take the pics in the rain.

Turns out the guy that bought them owns a shop and was sending a car to Korea. He wanted stock wheels.

Peace.

That was kinda my point.

HRE/Brabus/etc, high dollar = Pic

Stock, half the price just for the tires plus free wheels = Pic would be nice but not mandatory for sale.

I never meant to offend you ,it's just that it's all about the visual. People are attracted to the visual, which explains why you drive the car you do...

Agreed, no worries. It was weather/laziness on my part.

It is all good.
