2006 E350 Nav upgrade to the latest version
Hello All,
Ok so I have looked through the site and I see Nav upgrades but I have a few questions.
1. If you upgrade the Nav system can it be done by purchasing the CD only, or do you need an actual software upgrade to the Nav head unit?
2. What are the costs of both?
3. Will it void the warranty of the car?
I know I know, but I am **** about voiding the warranty.

Nav upgrade
The upgrade can be done by yourself. It requires 3 disks. The first 2 are the MB OEM disks I have for sale for $60 including shipping. One CD disk is used to upgrade the comamd unit and the other is the DVD used to upgrade the trunk DVD player. In addition you need the data disk from Navtec for an additional cost of $200 plus shipping. See my post from last week. This upgrade should not void the waranty if you use the OEM disks.
